It’s fun, it’s physical and everyone can join in! Launching in May, we will be inviting everyone to submit a picture of people waving their support for World Arthritis Day (WAD) 2012 as part of our Move to Improve campaign. Our target is to show 100,000 people waving their support for keeping people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) physically active. Everyone seen waving in your photo counts, so the more people you can capture in a picture, the quicker we can reach our target!
There will be a table ranking the countries generating the most waves, so start planning now! We will also be providing information and ideas to help you spread the word through traditional and social media.
The Wave for WAD pictures will be made into a giant photomontage that national organisations can use on 12 October, World Arthritis Day and beyond. More news coming soon. If you want to find out more please contact wad@eular.org
